Refurbishing and design for an apartment in the Marconi quarter
2017
Rome
Private client
Team project: Daniela Gualdi with Francesca Porfiri
The apartment has been redesigned through the design of sliding panels and glazed areas at the request of the client. A steel and glass wall separates the bedroom from the living room, while an iron-window wall has been designed for the kitchen. The color used is the avion blue, used in different shades, for the walls, the bathroom majolica, the iron-window and the mixed parquet slats of the bedroom. A ceramic mosaic creates an insert in the flooring in the kitchen. The transparency diffuses the light and separates the rooms leaving continuity to the space of the house.
