The passage between the large entrance hall, the living room and the sleeping quarters has been redesigned to provide two large bookshelves in elm and birch. The double curvature of the 'sails' which are first convex and then concave provides a sinuous passage leading in different directions. The entrance invites you to pass through it to the other rooms. The curve made in elm reappears in the sleeping quarters and appears as a surprising sculptural element due to the grain of the wood. The use of wood and marble makes the two floors of the house harmonious and emphasises the lines of the two bookshelves
