Glasswork by ‘Il canto del diamante’

The living quarters of the flat have been re-arranged so as to open out the rooms one to the other and to the light with concentric features which create filters and spaces. The circular false ceiling and the curved panels in wood and red glass which separate them from the dining room define the entrance hall. There are further larger circular features in the red brickwork panels and the fireplace. At the end, the large sliding curved wooden panel with inserts of yellow glass separates the living room from the studio which is furnished with a series of arch-shaped bookshelves and with a desk. The transparency and the curves of the panels capture and diffuse the light thus separating the room but leaving a continuous open space.
