Steelwork by COMETAL (NA)
The project was conceived as the re-elaboration of the design for a bench in a Roman square in which the curved, kernel-shaped line has been kept. The lateral structure is in continuing bands of medium dark blue lacquer supported by staves of cherry wood in strips on the opposing sides. By means of opposing plates, the structure is anchored to its steel base which keeps it off the floor. To complete the design, there is a small moveable structure, also in cherry, which follows its curvature.
